There are a number of pedestrian crossings and other signals that a driver must learn about in order to become a competent driver. Grand Drive has several to practice negotiating, and furthermore this road is not too busy.

Areas for Maneuvers
Quiet roads are necessary when practicing maneuvers as traffic and noise can cause stress to the driver. Parkway is perfect for the turn in the road and parallel parking (as well as learning the very basics of driving such as moving off and stopping as mentioned previously). Reversing around a corner can be practiced where Lambton Road and Rosevine Road meet.
